Our overarching goal is to build a foundation to expand our nervous system’s window of tolerance. The nervous system should be fluid
like, able to respond when necessary, yet its ‘natural’ state should be one where social engagement feels good. This is when we know we
are within our ‘window of tolerance’, this is when we can understand our systems ability to regulate itself.
We use many styles of breath, depending on the focus of the session. Each month is built by design to build up strength and fluidity on
both sides of the autonomic nervous system. Some sessions aiming to flex the parasympathetic response of rest and digest, to understand
how to get back to ‘steady-state.’ Transformational breath is a unique style of breathing, also known as Conscious Connected Breathing that aims to flex the sympathetic or fight/flight response and to build recognition of a full complete
stress cycle.
Be the pilot, not the passenger. Build a life with intention around the energy of now by releasing yourself from the bind of old stories. Stories you once told to survive. The breath can open these doors of opportunity by altering your inner environment. Learn to cleanse and purify through the largest detoxification channel, the lungs. Learn to activate and elevate your state of mind. How ready are you to meet yourself?
Breathwork. Breath. Work. This is the work. This work can be hard. Facing your own resistance can be hard. Showing up through discomfort is hard. Sitting with sensation and emotion is hard. If it were easy, everyone would be well on their path to healing.
You are worth it. Regulation of the nervous system isn’t about blocking out or numbing to our experiences. It is about learning how to understand and expand our ability to accommodate our hearts to move through the emotion we attach to the things that no longer exist.
